Mentor Guidelines
Time Required: Approximately 4 hours per month [This includes two hours of live sessions and an estimate of two hours per month to support mentees and review their tasks]
Role:
Review the existing curriculum and suggest adjustments if need be.
Hold virtual meetings with the mentee at least once or twice per month [no less than two hours per month 30 minutes per week / once in 2 weeks - 1 hour each / 2 hours once a month].
To impact technical knowledge, review the curriculum with the mentee and suggest helpful resources/materials
Holds the mentee accountable for set goals.
Actively listen to the mentee
Reviewing mentee’s work/tasks
Render assistance to mentee on challenging tasks.
Provides frank, honest and constructive feedback.
Challenge mentees to step out of their comfort zone, hereby fostering a culture of continuous learning.
May be invited to deliver talks, workshops and seminars on CV writing, Interview skills, Personal branding, Network and Relationship building, Public speaking etc
